For New Year’s Eve, I and my mom booked a hotel room in the capital of Norway. We had a great stay at the Scandic Victoria in Oslo, and the city was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
At first, we struggled to find a place to eat as most restaurants were closed either because of Corona or New Year’s Eve, but we were extremely lucky to find that the elegant Chinese restaurant Honsan right next to our hotel was open! I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant a couple of years ago, and their food still tastes amazing!
The day before New Year’s Eve I shared with you the excitement over the dress I was going to wear, quoting myself: “I can’t wait to show you my New Year’s Eve dress, it is like a beautiful piece of art. I bought it a couple of months ago, and I am super excited to finally wear it!”. And now I am so excited to finally show it to you!

The dress is from Fashionnova (link to the dress). It was super comfortable to wear, didn’t move when I was moving, and was basically the perfect New Year’s Eve dress! It has adjustable straps and is super stretchy, I did however not dare to get a size medium as I have a curvy body. I am happy I got a large, as the split is pretty high! 😂 It is the first time I ordered from Fashionnova, and I actually thought it was an overrated “Instagram” brand, but I am very satisfied and will definitely order from them again!
I am so happy we managed to have a great and Corona-friendly celebration, with a fantastic dinner and beautiful fireworks! Next year we can hopefully celebrate the proper way (Corona-free)!
