Guys, I did something. I have taken my restlessness out on my hair again. This past year has been the year of experimenting for my hair. Until last April I had never colored my hair – and since then I have learned a lot about coloring hair and also that it takes a lot of patience and precision. Last April I bleached and dyed my hair 4 times, then I tried toning it, and after the summer I cut bangs. This time I decided to go for something more fun and the final result actually came out very nice!

The products I used:

The first step of the process was to part my hair, then I bleached it with the L’Oréal Paris Colorista Effects Softbleach. I was very impressed with this product, it came with good instructions that were easy to follow, bleached nicely, didn’t smell horrible, and didn’t leave any brassiness. I will definitely use this product if I decide to bleach my hair again!

Before & After Bleaching
When my hair was dry I spread the Wella Professionals Color Fresh Create Infinite Orange over the bleached hair and left it for 20 minutes. This is a semipermanent color, so the color will fade after approximately 20 wash.

The final result
I am very happy with the final result and it was fun trying something new! I do wish the orange was more bright and vibrant, but it works 😂
What do you think of my new look?
x Alex
I love it! And you will always be able to experiment with different colours, but sadly they don’t always turn out as vibrant as what you may hope.
