A couple of weeks ago I was sitting down in front of the TV and it was this show running. It seemed interesting, but it was the last minutes so I didn’t get the whole idea of it. Some days later my mom told me about this interesting show she saw on TV – and it was that same show.
We decided to start watching it together from the start, and we are hooked! We are already on season 5 – so it is clear to say that we really enjoy this show. Every time we finish one episode, we are excited about what is going to happen next.

The show I am talking about is…
Doc Martin is a popular British comedy-drama series starring Martin Clunes as the main character Doctor Martin Ellingham. In the show, we follow Doctor Martin’s trials and tribulations. It is set in the fictional seaside village of Portwenn – a beautiful, picturesque village.
Plot: He’s surly, self-centered, rude, and uptight—but he’s the only doctor in town. Martin Clunes stars as Doc Martin, a hotshot London surgeon forced to change careers when he develops a fear of blood. Relocating to a sleepy, scenic Cornish fishing village, he offends everyone in town and falls in love with a beautiful teacher.
I love absolutely everything about this show – the story, the characters, the filming, and the manuscript. They have been going on for a long time to say the least as they started in 2004, and are still going strong! I really like that they have kept the same actors and kept the same mood of the show over all these years.
