It is so important to take care of yourself and with that I mean planning an activity just for the enjoyment. Of course, this is individual. What I do to take care of myself is maybe totally different from what you do to care of yourself. But what we do have in common is that we need to make time for it and to actually do it!
I have made self-care a part of my routine. I have some activities I enjoy to do spread over the week, and that is helping me keep motivated and it gives me the feeling of being taken care of by myself. It gives me a moment to relax and breathe out.
I know that this is not easy for everyone with a busy schedule, but it can be done at any time of the day. For example, when you take your shower or right before you go to bed. And it can also be as easy as reading a book you have been wanting to read or applying that vibrant nail polish you just bought!

Tonight I am going to take the time to make myself a healthy and delicious dinner and that is a part of my self-care routine. It is a simple activity that can take little time, but it brings a lot of joy.
